Jonathan Chambers, P.E.

Jonathan Chambers has extensive experience providing transportation engineering and planning services. He has worked on a wide range of public and private sector projects throughout Southern California, including the University of Southern California Master Plan, 1111 Sunset, One Beverly Hills, District NoHo, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, and Century City Center.

He has participated in many aspects of transportation and parking planning for The Disneyland Resort® in Anaheim, including transportation impact analysis, traffic operations analysis, transit and rideshare accommodations, parking demand management, signage and wayfinding, and parking pricing. He was extensively involved in the parking and circulation plan for Dodger Stadium that was developed to maximize the efficiency of the parking and to streamline vehicular operation within the park. He has worked on transportation-related aspects of event management, including plans for Levi’s Stadium and Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Jonathan developed multi-modal (pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle, commercial) circulation and safety studies for Keck Hospital of USC and the USC University Park Campus and participated in a successful three-day planning charrette to modernize downtown Fairfax, Virginia and improve connections between downtown and George Mason University.

Jonathan conducted the traffic studies for Project Study Reports to widen the US 101 – SR 134 interchange and construct a new on-ramp from Universal Studios Boulevard to US 101 and he developed conceptual drawings of freeway ramp and interchange improvements along SR 110 and I-5 in Los Angeles.

Other key projects include ocV!BE, the LAX Northside Plan, Burbank Airport Terminal Replacement Project, Paramount Pictures Master Plan, Vermont Corridor Redevelopment Plan, and the Bakersfield Commons Master Plan.

A native of Southern California, Jonathan graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Electrical Engineering before switching his career focus to transportation.
