Rich Gibson has over six years of experience managing and producing transportation engineering and planning reports for private, public and military projects.
Rich is currently conducting transportation studies for Westfield LLC’s shopping center expansions at Santa Anita in Arcadia, Plaza Camino Real in Carlsbad, University
Towne Centre in La Jolla and North County in Escondido. He is also researching a large scale traffic congestion improvement program for Los Angeles and conducting a peer
review of a mixed-use development in San Diego.
He recently completed a traffic analysis of fast food restaurants in Santee and a sporting goods store in Anaheim. Other key projects include analyzing a potential light
rail station for the University of Redlands, and the Relocation of MV-22 Osprey to MCAS-Miramar/MCAS-Camp Pendleton/MCAS-El Toro project for the US Navy. Rich prepared parking
studies for the Cortez Hill residential permitting program and the Park-It-On-Market garage. He conducted accumulation counts for the Irvine Spectrum Center and for the PETCO Park
ballpark in downtown San Diego.
