Senior Associate
Geetika Maheshwari has over six years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning and design, transportation finance, and sustainability. A majority of her Southern California project management experience is in the preparation of transportation analysis for specific plans, including the NBC Universal Evolution Plan, Boyle Heights Mixed-use Specific Plan, and Bakersfield Commons Mixed-use Development Master Plan. She has served as the project manager or as the lead engineer on several new construction and redevelopment projects, including the Metro Universal transit-oriented development, Wilshire Grand Redevelopment Project, Oaks Mall Expansion Project, and Westfield Plaza Camino Real Revitalization Project. She has also worked on various other projects in Burbank, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Santa Ana, Long Beach, Culver City, and Lancaster.
Geetika is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional and has served as a transportation engineer on LEED certification teams for several projects in the City of Los Angeles. She has worked with multidisciplinary teams, comprised of developers, architects, landscape planners, land use attorneys, and civil engineers, on site planning and design principles that promote non-auto dependence, pedestrian and transit-friendly designs, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and multi-modal transportation.
Geetika has worked on several congestion management strategies including High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes, High-Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes, and variable pricing.
